This 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider was originally sold from a dealer in New York City, then moved south to Florida and California. The car was reportedly brought to northern Italy later in its life for refurbishment by Luzzago Restorations of Brescia, from whom it was acquired by the seller 10 years ago. Power is from a 1,290cc twin-cam four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Now located back in New York State, this Giulietta is sold with a certificate from Automoclub Storico Italiano, as well as a transferable New York registration.

Pininfarina bodywork is finished in white and shown up close in a number of photos in the gallery below. Details of the Luzzago refurbishment work are sparse as records did not transfer after the seller’s purchase. Refinished 15″ steel wheels wear polished center caps and period-style 155-width rubber. The car has reportedly been kept in a climate-controlled garage and cleaned regularly under the seller’s ownership, during which it has been driven just to local car shows. Black bucket seats and door panels are finished with contrasting red piping to match the carpeting, which is covered in rubber mats.

Bright trim and switchgear show their age in close-up photos. Unrestored Veglia instrumentation includes a 5-digit odometer showing just over 80k miles, approximately 3,000 of which have been added by the seller. This Spider is powered by a 1,290cc twin-cam four paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Induction is from a single downdraft carburetor capped with a factory-style air box.

Engine stamping AR1315*43336* matches the reproduction chassis tag seen in the gallery below. Several underbody photos show the general condition of the floors, chassis, rails, and exhaust. X310 service manual  Service carried out under current ownership has reportedly included only oil changes, the last of which was performed a year ago. The Automoclub Storico Italiano documentation is attached in the galley below, though prior records are unavailable. Photo Gallery.

I am restoring a 1959 Spider Veloce with a 750 engine, short chassis and the rest of the car is 101 parts. I purchased an original parts book and service manual from Alfa Romeo in late 1968. I recently purchased the same service manual from an online vendor. I also restored my 1961 Sprint Veloce and almost finished with a 1956 Spider Normal restoration. I am going to write a list of where I purchased parts for restoration as well as vendors who painted the cars, chrome plating, interior, cadmium plating, zinc black plating, sand blasting, soda blasting and other services. The list of suppliers might also people that I traded parts and purchased parts if they do not mind or if they do not want their names to be published I can ask them if they have parts for sale.
