That was enough for me to know it had to be there somewhere. I went back and read the keypad manual cover to the page where I found it - custom messages - *92. It is such a small section of text that I had skimmed over it.but I tried it and it worked!! I had been looking for the 'Library' (table) of key words (like there is in the 540 manual) thinking that I needed to enter the code for each keyword I wanted on the display. Thanks Static! I have even figured out where it is in the DL900 software to make the programming even easier.

Library

CADDX NX-8 User Manual 19 pages. CADDX NX-8 Application Note 6 pages. Related Manuals for CADDX NX-8. Security System CADDX NX-6 User Manual. Rev b (18 pages) Security System CADDX Networx NX-6 User Manual (10 pages) Security System CADDX NX540 User Manual. Rev b (16 pages).

But the Keypad Text only changes for the Keypad 192. I don't see how to change to key pad 200. (yet it shows 200 in the picture in the help screens). And do I need to enter each keypad separately on DL900? They seemed to both update when I did it through the actual keypad.? Hi Brian, -Hi Static, if I am the target of your comments, thank you!- Download the following Euro Manuals: NX-8 (installation manual) NX-8V2 (installation manual) NX-148E (user manual) A library for the NX-148E you will find on pages 29-32 of the NX-8 installation manual.

The DL900 software is an easy and straightforward way of configuring an NX series system BUT: Keep in mind that by the time you edit stuff in DL900 and then do an upload, the system is in normal mode; that is it has to look after it's zones and keypads, show messages and may also be in an armed state. The processors of such systems are not so strong so sometimes the real updating might take quite a long time (up to 15 min! Csp exam study guide. ) specially if you uploaded a lot of changes. This is not the case with keypad programming. While you enter in program mode through a keypad, the system REALLY enters in program mode showing ONLY program mode parameters. That's why you can not enter in program mode through a keypad in an armed system. Updated changes are almost immediate through keypad programming, because the systems saves the changes while you are there (at a location not having to do anything else except that).
